Encoderless Pointing and Push-To

The PiFinder takes photos of the sky and uses them to determine exactly where your telescope is pointing with no setup or user intervention… all in less than one second! Between exposures a sophisticated accelerometer provides real-time updates to drive on-board star chart generation and easy push-to guidance. Installs like a finder, performs better than digital setting circles!

A self-contained observing tool

Everything you need, right at the eyepiece! The PiFinder will determine where you scope is pointed as you move around the sky and display an interactive star-chart centered on its position. You can search and filter a catalog of over 20,000 objects to observe and see how each object will look through the eyepiece. Once you’ve found a target the PiFinder guide you with easy push-to guidance… it can even log your observations.
